Women’s Health

Healthy Cycles

As a woman one of our greatest indicators of health are our monthly cycles. If your cycles aren’t regular, consistent and comfortable your body is trying to tell you something. Instead of putting a band aid on the symptoms much like what being on birth control does, we work from the ground up to create better hormonal health in a holistic way.

I am a strong advocate for women’s health and believe that we should feel empowered and not confused or defeated when it comes to our hormonal health and cycles.

Autoimmunity

Experiencing an autoimmune disease myself has vastly expanded my ability to care for others going through the same. Essentially autoimmunity is your body adapting to the physical, chemical and emotional aspects of your internal and external environment. When your body is producing high levels of antibodies, it is doing so to “protect” you. While there are many different autoimmune diagnoses there are commonalities between them that can be addressed holistically with lifestyle changes that can lead to drastic improvements in your health.

Adrenal Fatigue

Your adrenal glands produce cortisol, and cortisol is the hormone that is secreted during times of high stress to keep you functioning at optimal levels. Adrenal fatigue is your bodies inability to keep up with the level of stress your body is under. As a woman we are created to love and nurture. While this is great it often leads us to caring for everything and everyone else around us leaving our own needs out in the dust. This is especially true when women become moms. Having the tools and the support to be able to take care of yourself can not only prevent adrenal fatigue but also protect you from other detrimental side effects of too much stress.

Preconception Health

for couples.

“Dr. Nicole is one of the most compassionate, caring people I’ve met! I saw her for postpartum chiropractic care after my first child, then for support and chiropractic care during my second pregnancy to help with hip pain and to work towards my goal of a VBAC. She is supportive, encouraging and always listens to concerns. I highly recommend her!”
